Many specialty groups offer support to students seeking away rotations (financial, mentors and more). We have indicated the specialty sites that reference away rotation support. Visit their sites for additional information. The Council of Medical Specialty Societies also offers timely information about specialties’ away rotation guidance.
The AAMC’s Careers in Medicine® program is an important resource as you consider your career path. There is very useful information to assist you in deciding your specialty and practice options. We encourage you to take full advantage of this important resource.
